Fishing in the river

Schirmeck

La Bruche is a 1st category river in the private domain.
River fishing is open from the second Saturday in March to the third Sunday in September.
From Bourg Bruche to Schirmeck
From the “Vieux Moulin” in Bourg-Bruche upstream to the Schirmeck wastewater treatment plant downstream, approximately 25 km.
2 courses are reserved for “no kill” fly fishing (fish returned to the water alive), the first in Schirmeck, the second in Fouday (opening of the “no kill” courses on May 1st)

From Schirmeck to Muhlbach
From the Steinbach stream upstream, to the Muhlbach cut bridge downstream.

What fish? Wild trout.
How to fish? Any fisherman holding a card with fish tax (AAPPMA member) can buy a day card or a holiday card.
